A dermatologist also performs several cosmetic and surgical procedures including skin biopsies and excisions, botulinum toxin and filler injections, Microneedling, and chemical peels.
Being both a dermatologist and a dermatopathologist, Dr. Ghosn is well-equipped to correlate the clinical picture with the microscopic findings in order to solve the most challenging diagnostic cases.

Dr. Samer Ghosn is currently an Associate Professor in Dermatology and Dermatopathology at Hotel Dieu de France. completed his residency training in Dermatology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center AUBMC, following which he pursued subspecialty training in Dermatopathology at Boston University. Holder of the international board of dermatopathology, Dr Ghosn is mostly interested in challenging dermatological cases that require clinicopathological correlation and in the field of Psoriasis and Biologics. His academic experience includes twelve years of clinical work, teaching and research at AUBMC. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology and has published over 60 articles in peer reviewed journals in addition to several book chapters.
